A registered non-profit organization established in 2014, Global Catalytic Ministries (GCM) operates under the leadership of former Muslims who aim to bring the gospel of Jesus Christ to persecuted nations without access to Christianity. Global Catalytic Ministries is a decentralized disciple-making movement focused on training local indigenous leaders to lead movements in their villages and cities in over 14 countries.
GCM’s disciple-making ministry, known as Sheep Among Wolves, relies on the Holy Spirit instead of utilizing evangelical doctrine to bring people to Jesus Christ. The organization takes its mission from the Biblical imperatives to love God and make disciples who obey Christ’s commands. Most of the organization’s disciple-makers operate on a volunteer basis.
Because GCM considers itself a family rather than a business, it does not maintain the traditional hierarchy of a Western local church. Instead, its organizational board members are credentialed ministry executives who oversee areas of the ministry, such as evangelism, discipleship, prayer, and compassion ministries. Frontline workers receive coaching and mentorship from church leaders as they work as full-time underground church planters.
